An eyebrow lift improves the appearance of the forehead, brow, and area around the eyes. The soft tissue and skin of the forehead are raised. An eyebrow lift can be done alone or with other facial procedures such as a facelift.
Treatment for an eyebrow lift:
Classic Eyebrow Lift:
A classic brow lift is performed under anesthesia. This procedure involves an incision that starts above the ear level from ear to ear, and follows the hairline up to the forehead. Carefully lifting the skin of the forehead enables adjustment of the fat, tissue, and facial muscles, if necessary. After excess skin is removed, the surgeon closes the incision.
Endoscopic Brow Lift:
The surgeon will make several small incisions behind the hairline. Using an instrument, the surgeon will lift your forehead tissues and anchor them in place. Any open incisions are then close with stitches or clips.
