Blepharoplasty is a medical term for the cosmetic procedure to repair upper or lower/droopy eyelids that may involve removing excess fat, muscle, and skin.

Diagnosis
An upper blepharoplasty involves removing redundant skin or musculature of the upper eyelid.
A lower blepharoplasty corrects undereye bags or "tired-eyes" look. Many develop this look because of age or heredity. As we age, our eyes become sunken-looking and hide under heavy brow skin. This resulted from excess fat gathered above or below the eyelids. The sagging skin around the eye can also reduce your side vision (peripheral vision).
