Lead Speech-Language Pathologist
Pathologist (SLP) that specializes in swallowing, speech, language and cognitive disorders, and gender affirming voice therapy. Katrin has experience conducting fiberoptic endoscopic evaluations of swallowing; modified barium swallow studies; cognitive, speech and language evaluations; and developing person-centered, holistic and evidence-based practice interventions for patients. She is also certified in SPEAK OUT! Therapy and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT).
Career Highlights
Prior to joining Pacific Neuroscience Institute, Katrin was an SLP at
the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System in the Bay Area and at New
York Presbyterian/Queens where she worked with the adult population in critical care and outpatient settings. Katrin earned her Masters of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders at New York University. She was also a special education teacher, a softball coach and NCAA softball national champion before attending graduate school. During her personal time, Katrin enjoys surfing, paddle boarding, and traveling with her golden retriever pup and family.
